Bipolar Analog Arrays Design Flow:

Designing in the 700 Series Bipolar Analog Arrays is easy. Typical designs will take less than twelve weeks - to get parts! Definitions of the terms are listed below.

Description

DRC

Design Rules Check

This step checks the spacing of the metal lines to insure that the design can be manufactured. Designs with too small of spacing can short in production.

LVS

Layout Versus Schematic

Checks to see that an extraction of the devices in layout matches the schematic design (netlist).

GDSII

Geometric Data Stream II

This is a format describing the "polygons", such as regtangles, that make up the metalization for the arrays. Layers other than metal are correct by construction and have already been generated and checked.
